i recently had the pleasure of watch Oscilloscope Films Beautiful Losers, a film highlighting the most talented young artists of our recent history.

the film featured the likes of shepard fairey, aaron rose, barry mcgee, geoff mcfetridge, and one of my favorite artists steve ESPO powers.

what made the flick so good, was that it reminded me of highschool.  hip-hop, my punk friends, girls, skate, bullshitting all day, those were the things i loved.  street art culture is one area that keeps that feeling alive in the most pure way - a way that music, and most of popular culture has muddied over the years.

catch it if you can, definitely worth the time.
